PRAIRIE RIDGE ECOSTATION SUMMER 2023
Prairie Ridge Ecostation is the outdoor research and learning center for the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science. They have an outdoor classroom, a native plant garden, a pond covered in duckweed which is home to the cutest frogs, an arboretum, a variety of bird feeders, and of course a large prairie.
This year, they started running outdoor day camps for adults to learn about nature. I immediately signed up for three. I saw some animals I wouldn't have found on my own!
